Young Leaders Program

Indo-American Community Services (IACS) is conducting Young Leaders program to help young mid-level managers. This program prepares the young managers for break through career growth by providing skills, professional relationship strategies. Breaking through requires fast starts, sustained momentum and inspired managerial practice to actively build career success with global reach, organizational impact and personal fulfillment

The two-day Young Leaders Program consists of workshops on Effective Leadership, Corporate Finance and M&A Integration on June 12th from 9am to 2pm and the program extends to the IACS Executive Leadership Conference extends to June 12th evening 4pm to June 13th afternoon 3pm. The participants interact with some of the corporate business executives throughout the program. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided throughout the program.

This Young Leaders Program aims to provide new tools needed for participants to ignite their careera and global contributions. Working alongside fellow participants and in this program, you will develop insight and build competencies to increase your effectiveness as a leader of teams.

Executive Leadership Conference

The Indo-American Community Services is hosting the Executive Leadership Conference to increase the number of successful diverse executives by adding value to their development, leadership, and philanthropic endeavors throughout the life-cycle of their careers thereby strengthening their companies, organizations, and communities.

The Executive Leadership Conference, themed "Thriving in Uncertain Times," seeks to address the challenges and opportuni- ties that arise in navigating turbulent times and charting a course for growth and success.

The conference acknowledges that uncertainties are inevitable in today's dynamic business landscape. Instead of fearing change, executive leaders are encouraged to embrace it as an opportunity for innovation and adaptation. Through insightful keynote speeches, panel discussions, and case studies, attendees will gain strategies for leading their organizations through periods of transition with resilience and agility.

Sundaram “Naga” Nagarajan serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer, joining the Company on August 1, 2019. He focuses on creating value for customers through innovation and industry‑leading excellence in quality and delivery.

Prior to joining Nordson, Mr. Nagarajan had a 23-year career with Illinois Tool Works Inc. (NYSE: ITW), a Fortune 200 company, where he had roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he was the Executive Vice President, ITW Automotive OEM Segment, a $3.3 billion business segment. Under his leadership, the Automotive OEM Segment consistently delivered profitable revenue growth through both organic and acquisitive means.

Mr. Nagarajan serves on the Board of Directors of Sonoco Products Company (NYSE: SON), is a member of the Advisory Board of IACS, Executive Club, Economics Club of Chicago, and is a past trustee of Hobart Institute of Welding Technology, former trustee of AWS Foundation Inc., and was the Co-Chair of ITW’s National United Way Campaign (2013 and 2014).

Mr. Nagarajan earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from South Gujarat University, India, an MBA from Wright State University, and a Ph.D. in materials science from Auburn University.
