    SVP & Chief Information Officer

    Jana Kanyadan is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Senior Vice President of IT at Mohawk Industries, Inc. In this capacity, Jana is responsible for leveraging technology to achieve Mohawk’s strategic objectives and drive innovation across the global enterprise.

    After earning graduate degrees in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, Jana spent the past two-decades growing his leadership skills in technology roles up to the CIO level. His career has been focused in the manufacturing sector, including time with leading global companies such as Cummins, Ingersoll-Rand, Eaton and Ecolab. Jana’s previous roles have included significant manufacturing, engineering and finance assignments; and, to further enhance his business acumen, he earned an MBA from Duke University. 

    Mohawk Industries, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the production and sale of Always in Style floor covering products for residential and commercial markets globally.

    SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer

    Kathleen Carroll was named Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in December 2018. Her responsibilities include aligning and implementing talent and workplace strategies across the enterprise that support a high-performance culture and strengthen the company’s brand as an employer of choice. 

    Kathleen has more than 25 years of experience in leading human resources and organizational strategies to drive business results. Her expertise encompasses end-toend talent acquisition, learning and development, employment branding, succession planning, compensation and benefits, diversity and inclusion, and related metrics and analytics.

    Prior to Grainger Kathleen was with First Midwest Bank, where she served as Executive Vice President and CHRO. Prior to that, she held a number of leadership positions with Aon Corporation, which included Global Head of Talent Acquisition and HR Lead for Mergers and Acquisitions. Kathleen also had management positions with Sprint and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she began her career in consulting and accounting.

    Kathleen earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri and received a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

    She also is a board member of Leadership Greater Chicago and the International Women’s Forum Leadership Foundation.

    Chief Mindfulness & Meditation Warrior

    Christopher “Chase” Carey spent 20 years in Corporate America’s Health Insurance and Consulting industry, in significant positions. In 1998, as a VP of Underwriting for Aetna, Inc., he contacted the Chief Medical Officer telling him of the benefits of Meditation and other Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) techniques. He offered to help the company become a major force in bringing these techniques to the health insurance industry and the people it took care of. He received a courteous reply admitting it all made sense but that he was simply “too far ahead of them.” 17 years later Aetna started teaching its employees to Meditate. Don't wait 17 years to learn Mindfulness and Meditation.

    MEDITATION TRAINING. In the 1990’s his Meditation work began at The Monroe Institute in Virginia. He participated in 6 week-long programs consisting of 24/7 immersions into deep Meditative states and guided exploration within them. The training enabled him to re-enter any number of Meditative states, near instantaneously, at will, anywhere, anytime, including at work while solving complex problems as a career insurance executive. He can teach you to do this too. He also trained with Karen Malik, MA and Harvey Grady of the Center for Human Consciousness and others.

    Chase teaches his personally developed Advanced forms of Meditation: Inner Essence Meditation(TM), Professional Meditation(TM), and Stress Domino Stress Reduction Meditation(TM) and is a Certified Meditation Teacher for the Sarah’s McLean’s SEED Method(TM). Chase became a “whil. Certified Mindful Leader” in 2017.

    Sue Kolloru Barger is a member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications; Global Advantage; Operations; People & Organization; and Strategy practices.

    Since joining BCG in 2005, Sue has developed deep expertise throughout the technology, media, and telecom industries. She has helped cable operators, wireless carriers, and device manufacturers on issues of operational efficiency, large-scale cost reduction, postmerger integration and divestiture, and organization design and effectiveness.

    Sue has worked with clients in the US, Indian, and Southeast Asian markets on growth, customer, and sourcing strategies, and on customer segmentation.

    Sue also leads BCG’s Women’s Initiative in the Atlanta and Miami offices. Before joining BCG, she was an account manager and consultant in Lucent Technologies’ global-consulting division for North American and Asian carriers. Sue previously worked as a hardware engineer in the semiconductor division of Nortel Networks.

    Vice President & General Manager

    Kenneth Escoe currently serves as Vice President & General Manager at ITW Hi-Cone, a division of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW). In this capacity Mr. Escoe has full P&L responsibility for the division and oversees strategic and day to day operations of the division globally. Prior to his appointment at ITW HiCone in 2016, Mr. Escoe was Vice President & General Manager of the Welding Accessories & Cutting Division of ITW. He was appointed to this position in 2014 after joining ITW. Prior to joining ITW, Mr. Escoe was Co-founder and Managing Partner at Energy Growth Partners in Washington, D.C from 2011 to 2014. In this capacity, he led private equity deal sourcing and investing on behalf of the firm’s limited partners. Prior to his tenure in private equity, Mr. Escoe has held multiple commercial and operational leadership positions at the Danaher Corporation (2004 – 2011) and at The Timken Company (1993 – 2004). Mr. Escoe holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University, a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Escoe is married with three children and enjoys global travel, and engaging in community involvement initiative to encourage underprivileged populations to leverage education, entrepreneurship, and capitalism to foster economic development.
