Indo-American Community Services (IACS), Atlanta Chapter is organizing a networking event and discussion on ‘Communication and Team Building’ on April 20, 2019.
We invite you to join us for this interactive discussion where our speaker Dr.Nazeera Dawood will share her strategies on communication and team building. You will have an opportunity to network with peers and participate in hands-on activities during the event.

President
Dr Nazeera Dawood is President Vendorship Inc. & Nazeera LLC. She has diverse experience in the public sector and as a doctor who served the community to work towards creating healthier communities, economies and giving individuals the knowledge to believe in their personal power to pursue all of their professional and personal ambitions. Dr.Nazeera strongly believes that effective collaborations, collective wisdom and mutual support can help achieve the greatest impact in the community and beyond. She is the former Chief of Staff for the Office of the Chairman, Fulton County Board of Commissioners.
Nazeera led her team and hundreds of collaborative partners in designing and implementing S.M.A.R.T initiatives that continue to make huge impacts on building policy, systems and environmental changes that address chronic diseases. Nazeera is the current President of the South Asian Public Health Association (SAPHA), has served as a Board member of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF) Atlanta Chapter & Georgia Alliance for Health Literacy. She has collaborated with several local South Asian entities to initiate projects to promote preventive health, civic engagement, youth leadership and unity. She has served two term committee member of the Health Equity and Social Justice Committee at NACCHO. She has a medical degree from the Bangalore University and a master’s degree in public health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
